Welcome to my Website! I hope you will take a moment to kick back,
relax and browse through some of the Images I've
captured lately. I have provided a page for you to offer
comments if you feel the urge, because I greatly appreciate the
feedback. Photographers are no different than anyone else with
respect to their appreciation of a little bit of
encouragement now and then, but I have also found that
constructive criticism opens new doors and expands my
opportunities for creative expression. I think it's that old
adage about teaching an old dog new tricks. This old dog is
still ready and willing to learn!
I have spent the better part of thirty years
attempting to record, enhance, recreate, and generally immerse
myself in the natural beauty that surrounds us all. Nothing,
other than my family, has been more important to me than
attempting to capture the beauty that light brings to life.
Seeing the energy and beauty manifested in shape, form, tone,
color and contrast, all brought to us courtesy of 'light', has
engendered a life long pursuit to perfect my technique (in
various mediums) and to continue to grow as an artist
and photographer..
I first realized the art form in photography with
my introduction to the darkroom in High School but with recent
changes and the move to digital imaging a whole new methodology
has been added to the medium of 'painting with light.' I don't
think there has ever been a better time to be a photographer.
Technology has opened new doors at every turn and allowed us to
interact with our medium as never before. The ability to work at
the pixel level and print archival quality color or black and
white, all from the comfort of your own armchair, was beyond my
wildest dreams only a few years ago and now I look forward to
every new camera, digital back or software enhancement that
becomes available as a means to expand my abilities and the
beauty of the end result or photograph.
As a freelance photographer I welcome any
commission for contract work that I feel I am capable of
performing but I feel that my focus and primary interests have
been Portraits, Sporting Events and Fine Art/Landscapes. If you
